# Assistant Permissions and Data

> What the AI Assistant may read and change, which formats you can export, and how your data is processed.

The AI Assistant reads and changes data within the permissions your own role
grants.

## Reading and changing

The assistant can read everything you have access to yourself. It can only
change what your role permits: it can create assets and set relations between
assets, never more than you could yourself. A change the interface would
refuse you, the assistant refuses as well.

  The assistant does not start scan jobs. Inventorying remains an action you
  trigger yourself.

## Reusing a response

A completed response can be copied to the clipboard via *Copy*. The whole
conversation history can be exported as *JSON*, *Markdown*, *CSV* or *PDF*. A
document the assistant generates during a response appears as an attachment
under it. For the details, see [Having a

## Your data

Docusnap365 uses language models operated in Europe for this; processing is
covered by a data processing agreement (DPA). Your questions and the data the
assistant reads for them are not processed outside Europe.
