# Editions and What They Include

> Which features and limits Pro, Business, and Enterprise include, and what the trial covers.

Docusnap365 is available in the editions Pro, Business, and Enterprise. The
edition determines which features your subscription includes and which limits
apply to users, data volume, and quotas.

The numbers on this page can change. The
[pricing page](https://www.docusnap.com/en/pricing) shows the current state.

what a user may do per module through *Module Access*. *Owner* and
*Administrator* always keep all rights in every module.

## Locked Features

What your edition does not include stays visible in the menu. The entry is
grayed out, cannot be selected, and carries an edition badge. In Pro, this
applies to the menu entries *ITAM*, *ISMS*, and *Analysis*.

## Included in Every Edition

Assets, locations, gateways, organizations, and scans are unlimited in every
edition. The number of assets has no effect on the edition.

Every subscription has its own database and its own storage. The data center is
located in the EU, operations are ISO 27001 certified, and processing is
GDPR compliant.

The [Journal](/docs/en/settings/journal) is available in every edition. How long it
keeps changes depends on the edition.

## Limits per Edition

| Limit | Pro | Business | Enterprise |
| - | - | - | - |
| Users | 3, 5, or 10 | 10, 20, or 30 | unlimited |
| Data volume | 5, 10, or 15 GB | 10, 15, or 20 GB | unlimited |
| Data refresh | every 24 hours | every 12 hours | every 6 hours |
| API & MCP requests per month | 50,000 | 100,000 | unlimited |
| AI credits per month | 5,000 | 20,000 | individual |
| Restore | 7 days | 14 days | 30 days |
| Archive | 3 years | 5 years | 10 years |
| Journal retention | 30 days | 12 months | 10 years |

In Pro and Business, users and data volume come in tiers. You choose the next
tier with *Change Edition* under [Subscription](/docs/en/settings/subscription). If
you need more than the highest tier of the edition, you move to the next edition
in the same dialog. Both are possible at any time. AI credits and API & MCP
requests, by contrast, you add with *Buy More* on their tile under Subscription.

### Users

Every person invited into the subscription counts as a user, regardless of
their role. A user with the *Viewer* role also occupies a user seat. An
[API key](/docs/en/settings/api-access) does not occupy a user seat.

### Data Volume

Uploaded documents and the archive do not count toward the data volume.
*Storage* under [Subscription](/docs/en/settings/subscription) shows the usage.

### Data Refresh

The gateway scans on the job's schedule. It transfers the results of scheduled
runs to Docusnap365 at the data refresh interval. A job you start with
*Run Now* transfers its result immediately. This applies to all scan modules,
including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune.

<Note>
A scheduled run can be finished before its result appears in the inventory. To
see a result right away, start the job with *Run Now*.
</Note>

### API & MCP Requests

Requests through the API and through MCP count against the same quota.

## Trial

The trial lasts 14 days and has the scope of Business.
