# Notifications

> Choose which notifications you receive by e-mail and in the app.

Under *Notifications* you choose, per kind of notification, whether
Docusnap365 notifies you by *E-Mail*, *In the App* or on both channels. The
settings apply only to your user. In-app notifications appear behind the bell
icon in the header.

## Kinds of Notifications

Docusnap365 determines which kinds the list shows.

| Notification | Occasion |
| - | - |
| *Scan Jobs* | a job has ended, regardless of its result |
| *Gateway Status* | a gateway has connected or lost its connection |
| *Gateway Diagnostic Data* | requested logs and intermediate data of a gateway are ready; you download them directly from the notification |
| *Document Exports* | a document has been exported; you download the file directly from the notification |
| *Warranty Checks* | the warranty data of the selected assets has been updated |
| *Table Exports* | a table has been exported; you download the file directly from the notification |
| *Tasks* | a task has been assigned |

## Channels

Each switch saves immediately; there is no *Save* button. If the save fails,
the switch returns to its previous state.

  For some kinds, Docusnap365 fixes a channel. Its switch is locked and cannot
  be changed.

## Reset Settings

*Reset* resets all kinds and both channels to the Docusnap365
defaults, after a confirmation. Individual rows cannot be reset.
