Using the AI Assistant is part of your Subscription and limited per billing period. You can see the current standing under Administration › Subscription.

Order of consumption

Step	Source
1	Quota of the current billing period
2	Purchased quota—carries over beyond the period until it is used up
3	Block, until the next period begins or quota is purchased

Once purchased quota is exhausted as well, the assistant stops responding.
