  • Entry into force is delayed: Although the EU implementation deadline expired on October 17, 2024, the German NIS2 Implementation Act (NIS2umsuCG) is not expected to be implemented until Spring 2025 Come into force — around 40,000 companies from over 15 sectors.
  • Significant implementation pressure for companies: The NIS2 Directive requires concrete measures such as risk management, incident reporting (within 24 hours) and supply chain controls — including smaller service providers and IT suppliers may be affected.
