The people behind the software
Consultants, sales representatives, support specialists and developers all work under one roof at Docusnap in Kiefersfelden. Some have been here for over 15 years, and many know each other outside the office too. When the same people build a product together year after year, a shared understanding of the software and of our customers' needs grows out of it.

One product, one location, one understanding
Docusnap is developed entirely in Kiefersfelden. Everything in one place, with no outsourcing and no distributed teams. When you call Docusnap, you reach the people who built the product.
Docusnap began more than 20 years ago inside the IT service provider itelio GmbH, whose project work produced the first tools for IT documentation. Both companies still work in the same place today, sharing the same offices and the same kitchen. Out of that grew a shared understanding of what good IT documentation has to deliver, and a shared standard for what we ship.
Most of the team comes from the surrounding area. Many know each other from local sports clubs, the brass band or simply from living nearby. That may sound like small-town charm, but it has a very practical effect. People who share the same daily life share the same yardsticks: reliability, thoroughness and straight dealing with one another. These values are not posted on a wall here, they are practised, and they shape how we work and what we deliver.
Responsibility and growth
Rooted means accountable
Together with itelio GmbH, Docusnap supports local sports clubs, the volunteer fire brigade and cultural projects in the region. From the itelio Cup to the Kurpark Open Air, these are mostly the same occasions where the staff meet outside work as well.
Developing new talent has a firm place here too. An in-house training academy, an IHK education partnership with the Brannenburg secondary school, and a regional training network founded in 2019 make sure that IT professionals are trained locally and stay in the region.
